A private Japanese-inspired landscape built around a large naturalistic koi pond designed as a living ecosystem.

The composition combines natural stone, moss-covered surfaces, layered planting and sculpted terrain to create an immersive landscape experience with constantly changing reflections, textures and depth.
Special attention was given not only to the landscape above the waterline, but also to the underwater composition itself.
Shallow water zones, underwater caves and protected areas were carefully integrated into the pond to create a comfortable habitat for koi fish, allowing them to hide from excessive sunlight and predators while also improving the visual experience when viewing the pond from above.

The water system was designed using professional filtration and circulation equipment to maintain long-term water clarity and ecosystem stability.
Natural stone cascades, streams and elevation changes were integrated into the surrounding landscape to increase the visual scale and create a more layered and immersive natural scene.

Additional atmospheric effects, including low fog integration above the water surface, were used to enhance the feeling of depth, calmness and connection with nature.

Rather than functioning as a decorative pond alone, the project was designed as a complete emotional landscape environment centered around water, reflection, movement and silence.
