This project was designed around one important decision — to preserve the existing forest landscape and mature trees on the site.

During the early planning stage, there were two possible approaches.
The first was to completely clear the land, level the terrain, and create a flat construction platform. This would have required removing most of the existing trees, as the site naturally had multiple elevation changes.

Instead, we chose a different direction.
Rather than fighting the landscape, we decided to work with it — preserving the natural topography, existing forest character, and the atmosphere already present on the site.

Additional text
The result is a soft, sculptural landscape built around gentle hills, natural stone compositions, groundcover planting, and flowing pathways that move organically through the forest environment.

Additional text
This project is not about decorative landscaping.
It is about creating the feeling that the house naturally belongs to the forest.

A large lake and waterfall became the central visual and emotional element of the garden, reflecting the surrounding trees and integrating the architecture into the landscape.
